Instead they sat with me, gently pushed back where it mattered, and improved on half my ideas. It’s the finish that still gets me: the joinery lines up, the stone runs right through, all the things you only notice when they’re wrong. Nothing was ever “near enough”.

Crafted to lastAt my age you want it done once and done properly. My real worry was the corners you can’t see — behind the walls, under the deck. They were happy to walk me through the frame and the waterproofing before any of it was closed up, which told me everything. Two winters on, not a creak or a leak. The alfresco is where we live now — worth every single conversation.

Built around youThis was our first build and we had no clue what we were doing, so we asked a thousand questions — and never once felt silly for it. We were terrified about the budget blowing out, because everyone warns you it will. They were upfront about every cost and honest about where we could save without regretting it later.
